Thanks a lot with such a brilliant article.I am thinking to change the my old Choetech Power bank to Xiaomi power bank.seems Xiaomi power bank is much more popular and more reliable.some other people may suggest anker power bank,but among these, I think Xiaomi will be my best choice.

Thanks for sharing such an important information with us, because sometimes we have to face many problems due to having low battery in our mobile phones. So because of powerbanks now we dont have to face such kind of problems because now powerbanks is not expensive more.

Mi Power Bank seems to have a MAJOR FLAW / DRAWBACK in that once your device is charged through the PB, but you have still kept the device connected to it as you need a fully charged phone at all times, the PB DOES NOT TOP UP the phone as and until you press the side switch or pull out/put in the usb jack. Which means if you dont do the above, all the battery drains out even whicle being connected to the PB !! Who can do this 3-4 times a day, I have used so many PBanks and they all always keep the phone fully charged always. Called up MI toll free and they said this is a “feature” of the PB to save overcharging ! As if that is even a issues these days with modern phones. Makes the whole PB usless for me as it does not keep my phone fully charged, but only does the job of providing charge on the go, when no mains supply is available.

Thanks alot .. This is a brilliant article.. I recently bought this power bank online.. It charges my phone perfectly but i dnt know why it is not abot to quick charge my ipod.. Any idea about it? Is it not compatible with Apple devices?

I have power bank for almost 5month but this time its light wont turn off what will i do and also it heat up? ?? Im afraid because it can cause fire… and it wont charge any gadgets

Hi. The original produck come with paper packaging not hard plastic packaging like in the picture. And scratching hologram sticker with serial number under it. You can check the serial number on xiaomi website.

Hi there! I have a feeling that the powerbank you got is a fake! I have one original one which actually comes in a paper box packaging instead of plastic packaging. I bought one with a plastic packaging from HK and it turned out to be fake! Plus it doesn’t charge as fast as the original which is the most frustrating thing ever.

I bought the 5200 mh charger. On the first day I charged it at 7 til 9 only one light was on when I put the power button so hw will I come to know that it’s fully charged I m using 5v 1a. Please reply ASAP.

Hi
I got this mi power bank and when I charged it after few hours all the lights were glowing on it And I removed the charger.

But even after removing the lights keep glowing and when I connect my phone it dosent charge.

How to reset this device or is it a faulty piece.

Plz hrlp
