If I may add, one thing that I especially admire in a UI/UX designer is the drive and tenacity to always improve things. It comes from two places: curiosity of how to make an existing process more efficient and the humility to realize that our work is far from perfect but can be made infinitely better through constant innovation. Some designers can be married to their solution and the attachment can sometimes lead to the agent of change unable to change. 

Another important trait is being equally adept in both IQ and EQ. As UI/UX designer, you will be working with a lot of people. Being knowledgeable in your field helps boost people&#039;s confidence in your ability to deliver well-thought solutions. Being personable and cultivating good interpersonal relationship allows you to influence and execute your solutions at all organizational levels, from the interns to the CEO.
