You need to modify some css value in order to make it responsive.

Example:
#slider{width:100%;}
.items .wp-post-image {width:40%;}
.info {width:55%;}

Error No. 1) The slider was visible before adding the code you mentioned to get rid of the default sticky post format, but the slider was not working/functional, not moving and showing up the latest sticky post inside it only. Clicking on the slider buttons at the right bottom corner was not helping the slider to move.

Error No. 2) The moment I added the following code i.e.-

query, array( ‘post__not_in’ => $sticky ) );
query_posts( $args );
?>

to get rid of the default sticky posts, it showed an error i.e.-

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/iamsantanu/searchenginetalks.org/wp-content/themes/twentyten-child/loop.php on line 83.”

FYI, line 83 denotes the following line of the code i.e.-

$args = array_merge( $wp_query->query, array( ‘post__not_in’ => $sticky ) );

Well, it was really a great post and I thought I will show my blog here if everything goes right with it. But unfortunately it didn’t work. Lastly, I humbly request you, if you can let me and all the readers know how these two errors can be fixed, so that I and all the other readers can implement it on their blog.
