On March 8th, 2014 Malaysians and the rest of the world were stunned by the disappearance of MH370. Just last month, the Stampede team stood in disbelief when we learned about the crash of MH17 in Ukraine.

Every Malaysian has deep, special pride in our hearts for Malaysia Airlines. To see our beautiful wau bulan – the moon-kite in MAS logo that is so synonymous to our country’s friendliness and warmth – shredded and broken in the fields of Ukraine was heartbreaking.

Yesterday was declared a national mourning day in Malaysia as we finally received the fallen passengers of MH17 on our soil.

Malaysians, welcome home.
